“Our mouths are essential to everyday life. The mouth is a very intimate area—it is our medium for the majority of our communication, we use it to eat, and it is essential in expressing emotion. As a dentist, I help people in our community take care of their teeth, gums and jaw for a lifetime of optimal oral health and beautiful smiles. I love getting to know my patients personally, and building a trusting relationship with them throughout their lives.”
Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Wolfenden attained his DMD from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He aims to work hard to stay at the forefront of dental technology. He and his father attend numerous continuing education courses, seminars and meetings each year. He is an active attendee of the Pinnacle Study Club, Seattle Study Club, and a monthly Spears Study Club. These clubs aid Dr. Wolfenden to offer the most up-to-date treatments for his patients to provide efficient and comfortable dentistry.
Dr. Wolfenden is originally from Athens, Tennessee, and loves living in Trinity. Both his mother and father work in the dental practice. His brother, his wife and two children live in Brandon. He enjoys the challenge that dentistry offers, as well as the opportunity to work with many wonderful people. Dr. Wolfenden credits the entire talented dental team because they take the time to get the job done right and serve patients with respect and compassion. By getting to know each patient individually, he can better meet their needs for a wonderful dental experience.
When he is not working, he enjoys surfing, soccer, mountain biking, playing guitar, reading, and watching Gator football! Dr. Wolfenden volunteers for those in need where he and his father regularly volunteer at a local dental clinic. They also volunteer at Give Kids a Smile to help children in need.
